A brief reference only; this overview omits the extended genealogy of earlier royal houses.
Queen Elizabeth II (1926–2022) — mother of Charles III.
King Charles III — succeeded Elizabeth II in 2022.
Prince William — Charles III's elder son and first in line to the throne.
Prince George — William's eldest child and second in line; his siblings Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis follow him.
Prince Harry — Charles III's younger son; follows William's three children in the order of succession. His children, Archie and Lilibet, follow him.

Author David Icke, especially in The Biggest Secret (1999), has advanced allegations that some royal families belong to reptilian or interdimensional bloodlines. These are claims, not scientifically verified ancestry.
Christine Fitzgerald: Icke reported an alleged account attributed to Fitzgerald concerning Princess Diana and reptilian descriptions of the Windsors. The reporting is secondhand and does not establish the allegation.
Arizona Wilder: Icke publicized Wilder's claims about royal rituals and shape-shifting. These claims are not independently substantiated.
Ancient serpent and dragon imagery appears in many cultures, but mythological symbolism does not itself establish that historical or present-day royals are extraterrestrials.
Source documenting the modern theory: David Icke, The Biggest Secret (1999). The book presents Icke’s allegations; it is not independent verification.
The royal House of Windsor adopted its current dynastic name in 1917; before that, the house was known as Saxe-Coburg-Gotha. This is a documented name change, not evidence of nonhuman ancestry.

The family's relationships and order of succession are publicly documented. There is no independently verified biological, genetic, or historical evidence that Elizabeth II or her heirs are reptilian extraterrestrials. Claims, allegorical interpretations, and proven history should be kept distinct during further research.
Compare the original serpent or dragon traditions with the dates and sources in which contemporary extraterrestrial interpretations arose (Anunnaki, Nagas, Egyptian serpent deities, European dragons). Do not assume the original traditions explicitly describe today's royal family.

Vatican Observatory: Pope Leo XIII re-established the Vatican Observatory in 1891. The institution conducts astronomical research, and Vatican astronomers have publicly examined the possibility of life beyond Earth.

Father José Gabriel Funes (2008): A Vatican newspaper interview titled The Extraterrestrial Is My Brother discussed the idea that extraterrestrial intelligent life would not necessarily contradict Catholic theology. Discussing possibility is not evidence of contact.

Pope Francis (2014): He used a hypothetical example involving Martians requesting baptism while discussing inclusion. This was a religious illustration, not an announcement of alien visitors.

In 2023, former U.S. intelligence official David Grusch said an unusual craft was recovered in or near Magenta, Italy, in 1933. He alleged that the Vatican, through Pope Pius XII, later helped convey information about the object to American authorities, and that the United States eventually obtained it. These allegations have not been publicly established by authenticated archival records or recovered extraterrestrial technology.

The Vatican Apostolic Archive offers access to certain historical materials through the pontificate of Pius XII, providing a possible avenue for archival investigation; access does not validate this account.

“Lucifer telescope”: An instrument formerly nicknamed LUCIFER, later LUCI, was at an Arizona astronomical observatory; the misleading claim that the Vatican owns a secret telescope of that name conflates institutions and equipment.

Paul VI Audience Hall: Some images of the 1971 Vatican audience hall appear serpentine to some viewers, but architectural resemblance does not verify the claim it houses reptilian beings. The hall was designed by architect Pier Luigi Nervi.
Architectural background: Read source →
The British monarchy passes through a hereditary line, while Catholic popes are elected, not born into a single papal bloodline. The Vatican's interest in whether life might exist elsewhere does not demonstrate that popes or Vatican personnel are extraterrestrials.
Documented: the Observatory, religious discussions about hypothetical alien life, records of Grusch making his allegation, the architectural history of the audience hall.
Unverified: a Vatican role in transferring an extraterrestrial craft, extraterrestrials among popes or clergy, and secret reptilian identities.
These notes intentionally distinguish primary historical records, public testimony, modern interpretations, and independently substantiated evidence.
